FW: [Update2djpc] Sat. June 26, Salon Series Documentary Film

Sat. June 26, at 5:00 pm, the Denver Justice and Peace Center presents it's
Salon Series Documentary Film at the Foss Auditorium at the American
Mountaineering Center, 710 10th Street, Golden, CO 80401.

The film is THE DEVIL OPERATION, a documentary of Father Marco, a priest
from the mountains of Peru, and his work defending farming communities
against the Yanacocha mine's abuses. This is the largest gold mine in South
America and is owned by the Newmont Mining Corporation of Colorado.
Film-maker Stephanie Boyd has spent 10 years documenting the farmers'
struggle and became caught up in this real-life political thriller. Film
